Heroes of two wheels were treated to tea, coffee, and delicious scones as another Cyclist Tea afternoon unfolded in Walthamstow on the Bike Week Friday. Many riders remembered the fête in previous years as they sipped their tea under the cosy gazebo which sheltered everyone from an increasingly dark sky. The rain did eventually come but cyclists kept pouring in, conversational spirit soared and nothing dampened the scones until they were all gone.
Big thank you to Liz and Victor for being such great hosts again. And not to forget Joshua and all the other kids tirelessly flagging cyclists down.
